Shakshuka is a healthy and hearty tomato-based brunch dish with a slightly spicy kick, guaranteed to add some heat to your chilly winter mornings!⁠

We love Shakshuka and wanted to give a twist to a traditional recipe using our Organic Bone Broth for a nutrient boosting and flavorful addition. ⁠

Ingredients:⁠

1 diced medium onion⁠
1 diced bell pepper ⁠
4 finely chopped garlic cloves⁠
2 tsp paprika⁠
1 tsp cumin⁠
1/4 tsp chili powder⁠
1 large can whole tomatoes drained⁠
6 eggs⁠
2/3 cup Organic Chicken Bone Broth⁠
1 small bunch chopped fresh cilantro⁠
1 small bunch chopped fresh parsley⁠
salt and pepper ⁠

Instructions:⁠
*Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium⁠
*Add the bell pepper and onion and cook for 5 minutes⁠
*Add garlic and spices and cook an additional minute⁠
*Pour the can of tomatoes and broth into the pan and break down the tomatoes using a large spoon⁠
* Season with salt and pepper and bring the sauce to a simmer until it thickens⁠
*Use spoon to make small wells in the sauce and crack the eggs into each well⁠
*Cover the pan and simmer 5 minutes, or until the eggs are done to your liking⁠
*Garnish with chopped cilantro and parsley⁠
